Getting a Lock on the GPS System

This week saw the creation of many things. One of these creations was a circuit that interprets data from a GPS chip then displays things like the distance to a set location, with the heading and direction to the location, and how many satellites the chip is getting signal from.

Aside from the distance to the target area, the other pieces of information are a little buggy at this time. The heading and direction only seem to work in one direction, so we will be adding a Magnet-o-meter to act as a compass and provide better data. Hopefully these systems will all work in unison to steer the car to its destination.
