Robotics Competition/New Projects

As in results of the competition, we (Wyatt Love and I) have successfully completed our first competition.  In this we have placed first in two different events, mountain (taking flags, set at an angle on a 4′ x 8′ piece of plywood, to the top section of it) and transfer (moving 100g of sand from on container to the other)  and placed fairly well in overall.

For new projects, it has been decided to work on a self stabilizing table using a stepper motor and an accelerometer. This will be completed using a stepper motor controlled by an arduino and a ladyada motor shield, which was assembled by Brian Bahn.
