Shipping to us right now, as I type, is the XBee S2 Microchips that will be used to interact with the “Remote Controlled Deer”. They are used to send messages back and forth from the controller and the deer (or just to the deer) so we can program certain buttons to do certain actions. The pin spacing on them is slightly too small to fit in the breadboards so we needed to order the adapters for them as well. When they get here, we can start doing initial tests as well as prototyping. Along with this post, I’m attaching an XBee S2 quick reference guide so I will be able to have all the information I need to know about them in one convenient place.
